You’ve got a great offer—maybe it’s a course, a coaching program, or a service package—and you’ve got a revenue goal in mind.
And you know it’s important to know your goals and your numbers. But when it comes to planning your launch or webinar, one question stops everything in its tracks:
“How many people do I actually need on my list to make this work?”
This calculator was made for that exact moment.
So instead of guessing or doing advance math, just plug in your numbers below–your revenue goal, your offer price, and a few basic conversion estimates. The calculator will do the rest, helping you reverse-engineer exactly how many subscribers, webinar registrants, and attendees you need to hit your goal!
Edit the white fields (no spreadsheets required). I’ll crunch the numbers to hit your sales goal.
Rows vary Attendee → Purchase %. Columns vary Attendance %. Cells show required Email list size based on your inputs above.

Heads up: this is a model. Your result will vary based on audience fit, offer strength, reminder cadence, replay strategy, urgency/bonuses, and follow-up sequence quality.
Conversion rates vary by list quality and offer. Cold audiences: 3–5%. Warm audiences: 8–12%. Engaged fans or past buyers: 15–20%+.
Look at past webinars or launches you’ve run. If you’re new, start with a 25–30% registration rate, and a 30–40% attendance rate. Then improve with better emails, reminders, and sign-up pages. All marketing is testing, so watch your analytics!
You can still use this calculator to model conversions for any funnel. Swap out “webinar” with “sales page views” or “DM conversations.” Just adjust the conversion rate based on your process. I do recommend doing a conversion event such as a webinar or sales call (or both).
